All of my lectures and classes are offered both live, in-person
and in a live, virtual, online format.
I am booking both in-person and online classes into 2021 and beyond.

Online Classes and how they work:
While we are all saddened by the cancellation of in-person events, there are silver linings with this shift to LIVE, on-line classes. Enjoy a front-row seat from the comfort of your home studio. No schlepping your gear through airports and wishing you had packed that special fabric. And travel expenses are gone so those funds can be used for cool new fabric and art supplies. I have a Pro Version of the Zoom software and will host the events on my sight or I am happy to be a guest host in your Zoom meeting. I will open the events 30 minutes early to allow everyone to check their connections.

Lectures:
My lectures are offered as live, interactive, slideshow presentations. Full-view and detail photos of my art work will be shared. Progress shots will highlight how I engineered some of my pieces. I will explain some of the mishaps and challenges I face while I create. And I welcome and encourage questions throughout the presentation. I prefer to have a lively dialog with you while we discuss my quilts. My fee for a lecture on zoom is $450. This includes a 45-60 minute presentation and 30 additional minutes for Q and A.

Classes and workshops:
My workshops and classes are lively and fun. Students interact throughout the day, sharing progress on their work and chatting with friends.|
I use multiple camera angles to demonstrate the steps in my classes and my cameras are aimed so that you have clear, close-up views of the techniques. I am happy to repeat demos for those who would like a second look and I happily answer questions during the demos and throughout the class.

I offer kits for all of my classes which include all of the specialty materials that we use in class. These kits can be sent ahead of the event to a designated recipient, who can then distribute them to the students. We can also discuss my shipping kits to individual participants.

My fee for a 6 hour workshop is $700 for up to 20 students ($25 for each additional student up to a max of 25).

I can divide the classes into 2 sessions of 3 hours each and I am also willing to modify the classes if you have specific requests or concerns.

The biggest downside in not having the in-person classes is not being able to hug…
…and ….you’ll have to bring your own chocolate!

Recording of my lectures and classes is prohibited.  Thank you for understanding.
